Discontinuing Live Streaming

I have, after much internal debate decided to discontinue livestreaming. Streaming the games I play on Twitch has been a fun experience, but also time-consuming—and let’s face it, I don’t really possess the charisma required to build an engaged community on the platform.
More importantly, I’m about to begin my MFA curriculum and I’m realizing that succeeding in my program will require a much greater time commitment than I originally allotted.
A very big THANK YOU to everyone who supported me on my streaming journey. No doubt we’ll meet again at some time and place in the online gaming universe!
The MFA
I’ll be pursuing the Master of Fine Arts in Creating Writing at Southern New Hampshire University, and my focus will be on writing speculative fiction. I needed to choose between two graduate certificates, Professional Writing and Online Teaching of Writing.
I chose teaching.
Besides levelling up my own creative writing skills, I want this path to better equip me to mentor and help others along their writing journeys.
I’m so excited to take this next seriously challenging step in my writing journey!

The Story That Will Get Under Your Skin Today
Jamie McGhee’s SKIINFOLK, published in Strange Horizons Issue 13 (April 2026), dredges up the deep-seated self-loathing that society forcibly sows within everybody Black.
How many of us have thought:
I’d be better off, be afforded the most fundamental of human rights, or have access to things out of my reach if I wasn’t Black?
This futuristic short story critiques the superficiality of our insidiously racist society and imagines a world where surprisingly little would likely change for the better should we possess the technology to change the color of our skins.
In Case you Missed it:
You can now download a free sampling of my short works.
Selected Short Works features Twenty vignettes and short stories featuring cosmic tales of distant worlds and strange futures where earthbound horrors unfold.
This collection invites you to marvel at the macabre and maleficent and embrace the weird and wonderful. Odd creatures and even odder humans abound.
IMHO - the free pdf version is a much better deal:
